The Adda Clevenger School is committed to recruiting and retaining dedicated and experienced teachers and administrative staff. Teachers at Adda Clevenger embrace important tenets of Deweyan experientialism: autonomy, reflection, experimentation, adaptation and modeling. Instead of teaching a standardized off-the-shelf curriculum, teachers draw on their own creativity and ideas to implement a curriculum that leverages the knowledge and experience they bring to the classroom, while responding dynamically and continuously to the wide variety of interests, needs and ideas of their students.
- Generalists teach a single grade level in all core academic subjects: Math, Language Arts, Science, Social Studies and Civility.
- Specialist teachers in Theater Arts, Music, Dance, Art and Physical Education teach across a range of grade levels.
- Administrative roles include admissions and enrollment management, operations and professional development.
