2025 Summer Camp - Grades TK - 3

Summer Camp 2025 - TK through 3rd Grade

The 7-week summer program is intended for students who are currently enrolled in TK through 2nd grade and enrolling in TK through 3rd Grade in the Fall Semester. The requirements for incoming TK1s are the same as for current TK1s: potty-trained and pacifier-free. A nap time will be included for any students who require it. The program is play-based and will include many opportunities to play outdoors, both here at school and around town.

Dates: Our Summer Camp will run for 7 weeks, from June 30th to August 15th.

Weeks 1 & 2 will be held at the Fair Oaks Campus
Weeks 3-5 will be held at the Presidio Campus
Weeks 6 & 7 will be held at the Fair Oaks Campus

Hours: Camp will be held from 8:00 am to 5:00pm.  Early drop-off and late pick-up are available for an additional fee and by special arrangement only.  

Cost: Students may sign up on a weekly basis for $750 per week or $4550 for the entire 7-week camp, exclusive of transportation and field trip costs.

Lunch: Choicelunch is not available for the summer program, so students will need to bring lunch and snacks.

Week-By-Week

Theme: Space. 
Location: Fair Oaks / Noe Valley
During this week, the kids will learn about Space, what is Space, names of the planets in Space, why there are stars in Space. We will read books about the solar system and all around it. For our art crafts will be making our own solar system, our own rocket ship, star constellations and much more.

Theme: Sensory/Experiments. 
Location: Fair Oaks / Noe Valley
This week, we will be doing different experiments. We will be using our senses of touch, smell, and sight to observe what happens when we put different ingredients together. We will use our age appropriate scientific method by making predictions, doing experiments, observing and ending up with our conclusions.

Theme: Cooking. 
Location: Presidio
During this week, we will be learning how to cook different healthy meals. We will be using organic materials to make yummy meals and desserts. The kids will practice their cutting skills, work together as a team and problem solving. We will include math, science and language skills to make our delicious food and then we will enjoy it together.

Theme: Building/Recycle.
Location: Presidio
This week, we will learn how to build using recycled materials. We will talk about the recycling process and how we can reuse old materials to make new things. We will talk about why it is important to recycle and how we can do it at home or school but at the same time we will learn how to build cool stuff with it.

Theme: Fossil. 
Location: Presidio
During this week, we will turn ourselves into paleontologists. We will learn about fossils, what is a fossil, why people want to learn about fossils, and how they find fossils. We will create our own fossils and investigate them through different activities.. It will be so much fun!

Theme: Sports. 
Location Fair Oaks / Noe Valley
During this week, we will learn about different types of sports, from soccer to track running. We will learn how to play the sport, what are the rules on each sport and of course we will play each sport with our friends.

Theme: Story Telling. 
Location: Fair Oaks / Noe Valley
During this week, we will explore different children's stories and then make our own. We will learn the steps to make a story, from beginning, middle and ending, how to illustrate a story and how to make it into a book. At the end we will have a small publishing party for our stories and the end of our summer camp.
